To allow users to write into Word, Powerpoint, etc on a SMART Board connected to a DER netbook (this function is called Ink Aware), users must turn on the SMART Board tools. The following procedure should be followed:
1. Access the START menu and then All Programs
2. Choose SMART Technologies in the list, followed by SMART Board [...]
The challenge is to ‘discuss’ with your staff… what is a netbook? How is it different from a desktop, a laptop, a notebook?
Then … what is an ‘e’ netbook?
Is it a teaching & learning tool/companion or JUST a learning tool/companion?
