L4L Flexible Furniture- Does this mean FREEDOM?

Some interesting coffee discussions about the flexibility of classroom furniture when using Laptops! It is always a problem that the classroom furniture design/layout:

is usually set by the ‘home class’ teacher, or other influence- change it and they will come… and yell at you!
can dictate the teaching approach (epistemology). Lecture structure and group work approach mmmm?
